About Tulip Garden:

Location: The Tulip Garden is situated in the foothills of Zabarwan Range, overlooking the famous Dal Lake in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.

 Season:  The garden is typically open to visitors from late March to early May, depending on the bloom season of tulips, which is the main attraction  

History:    Initially conceived by the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Ghulam  Nabi Azad, the garden was later developed by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to boost tourism in the region. It was later renamed in honor of the  former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
